Who Is Better Qualified To Care For Your Feet Than a Nurse?
In the comfort and privacy of your own home, our qualified Foot Care Nurse provides foot care services. Our top priorities are injury and infection prevention and education. Our Nurse has the knowledge and experience to deliver safe, high-quality care that emphasizes each client's freedom and well-being. The Nurse and the client will create a maintenance schedule with the goal of reducing the risk of infection and hospitalization.
In our initial appointment, all of our foot care services involve a full exam of common diabetic and geriatric foot and nail diseases.
The nurse will wear N95 masks and gloves.
Our Footcare Services
In-home visits
The nurse will gather health history and current status.
Your Foot Care Nurse will create a treatment plan based on the initial assessment findings.
It takes 60-90 minutes for the initial visit.
Ongoing treatment plans (30-45 minutes)
Trimming, sanding, reduction, and debridement as necessary on toenails, calluses, and corns.
Assess for any changes to nail structure, assess for tissue changes.
Assess for foot pain with education to reduce pain in feet and toes.
Treatment for ingrown nail if required.
Moisturizing feet and lower leg treatment.
Enhancing circulation.
Provide strategies and education to clients with goals to prevent future problems and complications.
Provide education on correct shoe fitting and orthotics if needed. May include referrals to podiatry or other vendors as needed.
Educate on wearing appropriate socks and assess for the correct fit.
Educate on keeping feet clean and dry and preventing infections.
